Take a look at Stephen Roberts’ excellent Chartism and the Chartists website, which has been thoroughly revamped and redesigned of late.
The site now has a weekly blog post, photos and posters, along with an expanded biographical listing of prominent Chartists.
Stephen is Visiting Research Fellow in Victorian History at Newman University in Birmingham. He has written or edited a number of well-known books on Chartism and related subjects.
He and I also have an unspoken reciprocal arrangement under which he refers people with a family history to Chartist Ancestors, while I am only too happy to refer those with scholarly queries to him.
